More than a book, SoM is a group of mothers based locally in Malta. Some of us write poetry or prose, some paint, draw and illustrate. The book merely collects these musings, centred around the theme of motherhood, in a yearly collection.

Every year, the book cover comes lovingly illustrated by Moira Scicluna Zahra, local household name in the publishing world for her beautiful illustrations, and meticulously designed by Sarah Cachia Falzon, renowned for her minimalist aesthetic and focus on typography. The curation of the anthology lies with Roberta Azzopardi, who writes, edits and selects the work to be featured every year. All 3 women are mothers, as is everyone involved in the production of this book.

The contributors come from all walks of life. We have stay at home mums, teachers, lawyers, business owners, marketers, doctors and specialists in the medical field, all united by an underlying motherhood story.
