Gratitude

It's Friday and my energy levels are hanging by a thread. I've already started and stopped writing this post at least three times - and I'm anticipating a fourth as my two year old's intense need for snacks seems to be inexhasutible.

But despite the exhaustion, Friday is the day that breathes a sigh of relief. The one that allows me to slow down a little, to think back on another work week that's just passed and - if at all possible - to recharge a little before a hectic weekend. Maybe a sweet movie and a glass of wine after Benji is put to sleep. Yes, that will do just nicely.

But before that, my little gratitude list.

🌸 Finally picking up a gorgeous print from an art exhibition we visited a couple of months ago. All proceeds go to Puttinu Cares, so it's a double dopamine shot.

🌸 Meeting Sarah and Moira, our Songs of Motherhood desiger and illusrator to talk projects and plans over a nice meal at Marilu`'s

🌸 Hand delivering Songs of Motherhood to a friend I hadn't seen in a while. And we got to see each other's babies!

🌸 Cooking up 3 new recipes. I have come to the conclusion that one-pot recipes are simply the best.

You can find one for salmon, beef stroganoff and chicken, here.

🌸 Benji giving me bursts of absolute sunshine.
